Sweet Escape Pastries

Sweet Escape Pastries’ founder, Melissa Degen, acquired a taste for fine pastries early in life from her favorite chef: her grandmother. In early 2004, Melissa and her daughter Ashley were diagnosed with Celiac Disease. As a Celiac family, they soon realized that there were not many gluten-free options available on the market, and even less options to eat in restaurants. Melissa wanted her children to experience amazing pizzas and pastas like she did as a child from her grandmother. Thus, she started Sweet Escape Pastries. She strives to offer only the best gluten-free pizza crust and pastas for not only her family, but people across Colorado
